The University of Chicago
Gwen and Jules Knapp have donated $25 million toward construction of a 330, 760-square-foot, 10-story, state-of-the-art facility that provides a new home for translational research programs including the Institute for Genomics & Systems Biology, the Cancer Research Center, and the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics. This state-of-the art structure includes architectural features designed to frame an efficient and flexible work environment.

Parking
Street Parking
Street parking is limited on campus during the week. Metered Parking is available on Ellis Avenue between 57th and 59th Streets. Some free parking is also available on the street.
The large parking structure between Maryland and Cottage Grove is open to visitors for a fee. Contact the Hospitals Parking Office at (773) 702-6257 for more information. View Map »
Short Term Parking
Short term parking is also available in the metered Visitor Parking Lot on Ellis between 55th and 56th Street. View Map »

Accommodation
The University of Chicago is located about 6 miles south of downtown Chicago. Thus you can stay on the University campus or in a downtown hotel, from which you can travel by train, bus, or taxi to the University.
