iSTEM Outreach

STEM education will be successful for all young people when teachers are professionally trained to use standards-based curriculum and are able to implement pedagogy with well-designed, engaging hands-on, interactive learning experiences. The right mix of grade-specific interactives, elegant experiments, and engineering challenges linked to standards, curricula, and assessments will excite students to learn. They will become productive participants in STEM disciplines, eager to solve problems, and interested in seriously considering related careers.

What is needed is a Center to act as a catalyst, in collaboration with teachers, principals and education leaders, to develop curriculum resources and professional development activities.
