CCSB Education Programs

CCSB education programs are back-mapped to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) curricula, standards, and assessment frameworks. These offerings are generated with the right mix of art, design, collaboration, stories, and planning. Interactives, elegant experiments, technologies, and organisms are used to introduce questions, problems, and conceptual ideas about systems biology. Classical investigations are explained and hands-on experiments are produced real-time. Data is analyzed and complex, multiple levels of signal and factor interactions are deciphered through the use of computational models that simulate molecular mechanisms. Biological phenomena related to these web-like activities are visualized at different hierarchical levels of organization.

Advanced education programs stress training and research for undergraduates (REU’s & scholarships), graduate students (Ph.D. programs), post-docs (fellowships) and faculty (junior/senior career development).
